For a successful installation of your new appliance, please review these important requirements:

Confirm that you are replacing an appliance of the same size in the same location by checking the product dimensions.
✔ Cabinetry
All cabinetry and rough-in with the necessary electrical/plumbing must be in place prior to installation.
✔ Site Access
Please ensure there is an unobstructed path for our delivery team and the installers that can accommodate the size of the appliance.

Our appliance installers near you can install built-in appliances purchased at The Home Depot that require more than basic plug-in connection.
Built-in Appliances include:

This service does not cover free-standing appliances, such as: refrigerators; free-standing ranges; washers; dryers and freezers. For these items, basic hook-up is available for purchase with delivery. Appliance installation near you is available for both gas and electric ovens and cooktops ; however, all appropriate gas, electric and plumbing outlets or connection points must be in place prior to your appliance installation.
How should I prepare for my appliance installation in Calgary
Review our ‘Installation Requirements’ for your appliance (see above).
Ensure clear access to the installation site within your home.
Check the dimensions of your new appliance to ensure it is the right fit.
Obtain permits from your landlord or property management if you live in a condo/multi-unit dwelling.
Discuss your needs in detail with the authorized appliance installers near you during scheduling.
Will the authorized installer dispose/haul-away my old appliance?
Haul Away service from The Home Depot is available for a flat fee when you purchase your appliance online or in-store. *Exclusions may apply
If you have purchased an appliance + Haul-away service, please disconnect your appliance or the delivery team will not haul the appliance away.
If you have purchased a gas appliance + Haul-away service, DO NOT attempt to disconnect your existing appliance without a licensed gas fitter. Submit a request and the installer team will disconnect and dispose of your appliance for an additional fee. (You can request a refund for the original Haul-away fee).
If you have purchased an electric, built-in appliance from The Home Depot and did not select our ‘Haul Away’ service, please submit a request and the installers will dispose of your old appliance for an additional fee.
How long do appliance installation services near me take?
In most cases, your appliance installation can be completed in 2 hours or less
Some installations may take longer. During your in-home installation appointment, the appliance installer near you should be able to determine whether additional work is needed.
When will my appliance installation take place?
When you purchase an appliance at The Home Depot, you can book your appliance installation in-store with a sales representative or by calling us at 1-800-759-2054
If you have purchased your appliance and installation online, the installer will contact you within 48hrs of your purchase to schedule your installation.
If you have not purchased installation with your appliance, submit a request and you will be contacted within 48hrs to discuss your needs and pricing.
Can you put a gas stove where an electric stove was?
A Home Depot Installer can install a built-in gas stove in any reasonable location, including where your electric stove used to go, if a gas line connection has been installed prior to your installation.
Does The Home Depot install appliances from other stores?
No, our appliance installation service does not install appliances purchased from other stores.
