Hardworking exterior entry, storm and patio doors guard against the elements, save energy and let in light. If your doors are warped, stick, rot, or just look tired, new doors are a fast fix that also increase security and boost your curb appeal. Choose from a variety of styles, decorative glass inserts and hardware to make your own design statement.
3 STEPS TO EXTERIOR DOOR INSTALLATION STEP 1: In-Home Consultation At a pre-scheduled time, an Installation Service Provider will visit your home to discuss the project and your preference for exterior, storm or patio door styles, decorative glass inserts and hardware. During this visit, the consultant will verify measurements and inspect the existing doors. A nominal survey fee will apply for an accurate in-home estimate, but it will be deducted from your final bill.
STEP 2: Professional Installation An authorized Home Depot Service Provider will deliver and install your exterior, storm or patio doors at a time that's convenient for you. Your existing doors will be removed and taken away, and the new door, along with shimming, insulation, paintable caulk, trim and hardware, will be installed. If your lockset, deadbolt or grip were bought at The Home Depot, it will be installed free of charge. At all times, the installation expert will maintain a safe work site and ensure a thorough cleanup.
STEP 3: Follow-Up Inspection Once the installation is complete, your Service Provider will meet with you to perform a final inspection of the door, answer any questions, and confirm that the project meets with your approval.
